Man Gets Mad at Woman After He Pays for Expensive Steak Dinner and She Tells Him She is Going to Church and Not His Home…(VIDEO)

Hello World,

Although I haven’t been a single girl for some time, I do remember that dating can be treacherous. I don’t know if this video is a recording of a real incident, but nevertheless, it is hilarious! Apparently, this couple has gone on a first date and the man spent roughly $300 on a steak dinner. As he conveniently lives blocks away from restaurant, he asks her to come to his home after dinner is over. But the woman declines his offer because she is getting up for church in the morning! He was heatwave hot about her answer and proceeds to tell anyone who will listen that she is wrong for telling him “no” particularly when he has kids and diapers and tuition that the $300 could have helped provide. But she rightfully told him that she did not ask him to spend all that money…Anywho, the conversation went on so long, they will probably go out on a second date because I believe he was truly stupefied by her answer and one of the main ways to get and keep a man’s attention is to totally surprise him….Check out the video for yourself and let me know what you think…

And I wouldn’t be surprised if this all went down in the A because dating is especially treacherous here…And if they go on a second date, she probably needs to invite him to come to church with her…What say you?

Russell Wilson & Ciara Caught Worshiping & Praying at Church!

Hello World,

My headline is a tongue-in-cheek one because we should all be caught worshiping and praying at church. I’m not sure if the Wilsons’ photographer took this picture or if another churchgoer captured the Wilsons in a private moment at church, but either way I think it’s a good image to be circulating. And that’s why I’m sharing it here…

Worshiping and praying together doesn’t automatically make a happy marriage, but I think these two practices are important building blocks in happy marriage…

What say you?

Driving In Isn’t For Just For Theaters Anymore: Presenting Drive-In Churches…

Hello World,

As I told you on Sunday, I didn’t go to church in person on Sunday due to social distancing guidelines during this coronavirus or COVID-19 pandemic. But one church has found a creative way to come together and praise God while still social distancing, according to Religion News Service. See below:

“When it came time to pass the peace Sunday at Pathway Baptist Church, Senior Pastor Mike Donald didn’t hesitate.

“Everybody, wave to the right,” Donald said.

In response, the hundreds of people at the Calvert Drive-in Theatre in Calvert City, Kentucky, turned to their right and waved to the people sitting in the cars next to them.

There was a smattering of honks in place of applause between songs like “Power in the Blood” and “Victory in Jesus” and some prolonged blasts to express appreciation for Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear and the owners of the theater. Worship leaders bundled in winter coats stood six feet apart from each other beneath the blue awning, and a deacon in a yellow safety vest led prayers.

“What a sight!” Donald said as he looked out across the cars parked at the theater. The church later counted 134 in aerial photos.

“The church has left the building.”

The Calvert Drive-In Theatre has hosted two weddings and a number of concerts, Donald said.

But it hadn’t hosted a church service until Sunday (March 22), when Pathway Baptist Church — like so many others across the United States — was forced to get creative amid social distancing precautions put in place to slow the spread of COVID-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus.”
