Rev. Marita Harrell Allegedly Stabbed and Burned to Death By Recently Released Prisoner Whom She Was Mentoring…

Hello World,

I know God has called us to “proclaim freedom for the prisoners “ but some prisoners need to stay their behinds in jail as they are not fit to live in society…

Tragically, Rev. Marita Harrell, 57, here in metro Atlanta, while doing’s God work, was allegedly stabbed and burned to death by a recently released prisoner Christopher Griggs. She was actually ministering to him at the time, according to various reports. Harrell, who was the senior pastor of Connections at Metropolitan UMC, leaves behind a husband and two daughters…

According to 11Alive, her husband of 27 years told her to “‘not to meet anymore people who have just been released from jail for safety reasons.’ The report goes on to state a friend had also warned her about such meetings, but Harrell said she wanted ‘to help people who have been in jail.'” And through her cell phone, her husband tracked her location when he determined she was missing. He was the one who found her after she had murdered…

A man accused of stabbing and burning an Atlanta pastor to death earlier this week answered to a judge Saturday.

Christopher Griggs will continue to be held in the DeKalb County Jail without bond, as determined by the judge.

During Grigg’s first appearance, which was done virtually, the judge said she did not have the authority to grant him bond. She ended his appearance by saying a bond hearing will be scheduled in the coming weeks.

I want to say some harsh things about this menace to society, but all I will only say this: may God mete out his judgment…

Pastor Allegedly Peed on Fellow Delta Plane Passenger!

Hello World,

The letter “P” is highlighted in this crazy story about a pastor, a plane and pee! LOL

According to Fox 2 Detroit, “a well-known pastor from North Carolina is accused of relieving himself on a sleeping woman in the backseat of a Delta plane as she returned to Detroit from Las Vegas.

Alicia Beverly had just spent a great time in Vegas and could not wait to get home Monday night. They were on the red-eye flight and pretty much everyone was asleep, including her.

Alicia said she was curled up in a back seat next to her sister when suddenly she woke up to the feeling of being urinated on.

‘It felt warm, like on the side of me I felt something warm,’ she said.

In her sleepy haze, right at eye level, she saw something very unexpected.

‘I jump up and I seen his private area out and I screamed and that woke everybody up,’ Alicia said. ‘By that time I actually looked at him and I see him shake himself off and I’m like this man just peed on me! I looked and there was a puddle of pee in the seats!’

She screamed and got the attention of everyone on the plane, including an off-duty officer who rushed over and restrained the man, a well-known pastor from North Carolina.

According to sources, the pastor had an apparent reaction to a sleep aid.”

Here’s the video of the story.

Thankfully, I’ve never had to take a sleep aid, but if a sleep aid is that powerful, I would have to have been up for days on days on days before I could take something that could put me in such a state!

Season 2 of the “Preachers of L.A.” Starts Tonight!

Hello World!

It’s time to peek into the lives of our favorite “reality” preachers again tonight! Season 2 of the “Preachers of L.A.” airs tonight on Oxygen at `10 p.m./9 p.m. CST…Below is a trailer for the new season…

Below is an interview with Bishop Noel Jones about what unfolds in this new season…

Last season on Preachers of L.A., Bishop Noel Jones was featured largely in the context of his relationship with Loretta. (Yes, they’re still friends, and they’re still a source of controversy on Season 2!) But, this season you’ll get to know the bishop on a different level: the professional one. We spoke to the Bishop about his international ministry, his modernized view, and his inability to slow down! Watch more of the Bishop’s story on Season 2, premiering August 20 at 10/9c!

Last season you were worried about your health. Have you slowed down?

No I haven’t slowed down. It’s going to get worse before it gets better. You gotta do what you gotta do. When time comes to put the brakes on, I will. Just have some back pains. I did an epidural and I think it’s working somewhat. They say it’s progress. We’ll see what happens!

What was the outcome of Season 1 for you?

It has been very positive. What I was trying to postulate certainly came across: no man is perfect. The show gave people access by screen to an environment that 95% of the viewers never had. People began to see me in a more congenial, personal light. TV has a way of making people feel like they know you.

Is it uncomfortable letting people into your personal life?

It’s not uncomfortable. My problem has always been to try to create more distance from the public!
