    Nearly 6 months are down…Are you meeting your goals for 2010?

    Hello World!

    I cannot believe it…2010 is just about half over…The minutes have turned into hours…The hours have turned into days…The days have turned into weeks…The weeks have turned into months…And alas, here we are…June 2, 2010…

    When I was younger, the days seemed to go by sooo slowly…It seemed like forever until I was 13 years old, but now, it seems like only yesterday I was 30 years old…Anywho, because I’ve realized that time is precious, I am making my best effort to not waste it anymore…

    Through the direction of God, I believe that each of us have goals and dreams that must be fulfilled in our lives…I also believe that very little gets accomplished without a plan…So what are your plans for 2010? What are you dreaming about? Are you accomplishing the goals that you made at the start of 2010?

    I’m thankful that with God’s help, I am achieving the goals I set for this year! I PAID OFF MY CREDIT CARD LAST MONTH!!! Yay! Praise God! And I thank my financial coach for teaching me how to pay down my debt…

    Of course, I have more goals and dreams in store for 2010…Like Wendy Williams, I would like to know “how u doin?”  Are you achieving your goals and dreams for 2010?

    Be Ye Transformed: The Reveal…

    Hello World,

    It's me...I'm giving a speech...to actual people...

    Since many of you shared your fashion tips for my first speaking engagement, I thought it would only be right to share a few of the pics from the actual event. To refresh your memory, I was the keynote speaker at the 31st Annual Christian Women’s Retreat banquet which was held at the Westin Atlanta Airport hotel last night…

    I did implement a few of your tips, but in a rush, I did not get the chance to try all of them…

    My girl Latoicha from Luxe Tips did my makeup…Didn’t she do a fabulous job? And she went to great lengths to get my hotel room yesterday…God’s got a blessing for you girl 🙂

    One of you suggested that I wear my hair up…I told my hairdresser, and she happily obliged…

    Usually, I have my locs in curls, but I like this style too…

    And the finished product…

    I could have accessorized more, but as I stated earlier, I was in a rush at the last minute as usual…

    And I have to thank my mommy who was one of my cheerleaders last night…

    Clearly, Mrs. Holness knows how to dress and accessorize…I even forgot my purse…

    And most importantly, I have to thank the Lord Jesus Christ who made this opportunity possible…He is the author and finisher of my faith and my dreams…

    Hello World!!!

    If you couldn’t guess by my title, I am crazy excited that the new “Sex and the City 2” movie is coming out tomorrow!!! My girls will see it over the Memorial Day Weekend…I was telling R last night that it’s like the Superbowl for women…He kinda chuckled and said, “Okay” and turned back to watch the Lakers game…(Kobe is looking kinda skinny to me, but I digress…)

    If you read my previous post about the movie or paid any attention to recent press, you have an idea what the movie is about…So in light in that, I thought I would pose this question to y’all. Do you have a “Mr. Big” and an “Aidan” in your life? If you are married, did you marry your “Mr. Big” or “Aidan?”  Why or why not? Any regrets? I’ve had a “Mr. Big” and an “Aidan” in my dating career, but since I’m friends with most of the guys that I’ve dated in the past and some read this blog, I have to decline to describe my versions of these iconic figures…But I will say this…every girl needs a “Mr. Big” and “Aidan.” A “Mr. Big” is the alluring emotionally unavailable man that you almost trust  that wines and dines you but just won’t marry you…An “Aidan” is the very emotionally available, nice, adorable man that is soo crazy about you from jump that you find it hard to believe…

    Anywho, I cannot wait…Will you be there?
