Hello World,

I love it when entertainers find meaningful ways to give back to communities which is why I’m featuring Bishop Hezekiah Walker today! See the an excerpt of the ABC News article “Hezekiah Walker looks to bring gospel music center to HBCU” below:

LOS ANGELES — Hezekiah Walker became a student at Virginia Union University two years ago, but the Grammy-winning gospel singer took his collegiate experience to the next level by opening a gospel music center on the campus.

Six Members of Florida Church Die from COVID…

Hello World,

Has your church opened its physical doors again? My church has although the COVID-19 pandemic continues. Although it’s being reported that most of those who are getting sick with the virus are unvaccinated, some are still wary about the vaccine. In fact, one of my Facebook friends said the vaccine is the mark of the beast!!! Can y’all believe it?!! Read below what has happened at a church in Florida, one of the reported hot spots for the continuing pandemic.

“Six people from a Florida church died from COVID-19 within 10 days. So the church opened a vaccine clinic during Sunday service.”

A Jacksonville, Florida, church turned into a COVID-19 vaccination site after six members of the congregation died from the virus within 10 days. Impact Church senior pastor George Davis said at least 15 other members of the church reported having COVID-19 and some were hospitalized.

Davis said none of those who reported a positive test traced it to the church. He said Impact Church still follows social distancing, offers hand sanitizer and asks worshipers to wear masks.

Russell Wilson & Ciara Caught Worshiping & Praying at Church!

Hello World,

My headline is a tongue-in-cheek one because we should all be caught worshiping and praying at church. I’m not sure if the Wilsons’ photographer took this picture or if another churchgoer captured the Wilsons in a private moment at church, but either way I think it’s a good image to be circulating. And that’s why I’m sharing it here…

Worshiping and praying together doesn’t automatically make a happy marriage, but I think these two practices are important building blocks in happy marriage…

What say you?
