I’m not sure exactly where they are filming in the A in Season 4 except for this location thanks to this AJC article by Rose Kennedy:

House of Hope Atlanta

4650 Flat Shoals Pkwy, Decatur

This huge, beautiful church has featured in all three seasons as lead character Bishop James Greenleaf’s home church, Calvary Fellowship. Organized more than 138 years ago as a Sunday School and prayer meeting group, it now ministers to five generations under the leadership of senior pastor/teacher Dr. E. Dewey Smith, Jr.

Some of the locations from Season 3 include:

Eagle Rock Studios

6205 Best Friend Road, Norcross

All three seasons of Greenleaf have been filmed at Eagle Rock, according to location manager Patrick Rofoli.

“We have a portion of the Greenleaf Mansion built on stage, along with the offices and hallways of the churches, including an amazing coffee shop that we added this season to the church set.”

The parsonage and various swing sets are all also shot on various Eagle Rock stages. “Both Norcross and Gwinnett County are film-ready communities with great support from the citizens and the government,” Rofoli added.

Wages & Sons Funeral Home

1031 Lawrenceville Highway, Lawrenceville

Season 3 of Greenleaf involved the fictional Thompson Casket & Funeral Service, filmed at the family-owned Wages & Sons Funeral Home, which has served metro Atlanta’s funeral and crematory needs for more than 50 years.

And if you’re in the metro Atlanta area (or if you’re willing to fly in I guess) and have a baby, you can be on set THIS week!

From Project Casting:

Greenleaf season 4 is now casting babies in Atlanta, Georgia.

CAB Castings is now casting two African American toddlers ages 6 months 8 months old for the 4th season of OWN’s hit TV series Greenleaf. Casting directors are looking for kids with a brown complexion who are between 21 to 23 inches with filming on January 30th in Atlanta, Georgia. Babies will be compensated $100/day.

Check out the rest of the post on projectcasting.com.

And if you want to be an extra, you should probably bookmark Project Casting’s web page for more casting calls! I’m sure there will be more opportunities available!

Finally, I’m not sure when Season 4 will air, but I hope it’s sooner rather than later…

Happy Sunday!

Sherri Shepherd Shows Off 25-Pound Weight Loss in Swimwear Photo Shoot With Supermodel Ashley Graham!

Hello World,

Indubitably, losing weight is one of the most popular New Year’s resolutions every single year! But my favorite Christian comedian/actress Sherri Shepherd, formerly a “The View” co-host, obviously got started on her weight loss journey ahead of the start of 2019! And now beautiful plus-sized Supermodel Ashley Graham asked Sherri, who is a diabetic, to show off her slimmer body in one of her “Swimsuits for All”  in a recent photo shoot in Shoal Bay Village, Anguilla!  Check out how Ashley’s swimwear line is described below:

This designer swimwear line features daring one piece swimsuits and bikinis meant to flaunt your figure wherever you go. Supermodel Ashley Graham isn’t afraid to show off her swim body, and you shouldn’t be either. Be confident and let your unique beauty shine. Available in sizes 4-22, Ashley Graham bathing suits are unlike any other women’s swimsuits. That’s exactly why our partnership with Ashley Graham is so special. Our mission together is to empower women to feel beautiful in the swim they’re in.

The King Center Gears Up for the 51st Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Annual Commemorative Service…

Hello World,

Aside from Christmas and Easter, one of my favorite holidays is the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Federal Holiday which the country if not the world will celebrate tomorrow. All over the country, there will be events celebrating the life and legacy of the great civil rights leader but no place celebrates Dr. King like his hometown here in the A. I believe the highlight of the celebratory events in Atlanta is the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Annual Commemorative Service which is held in Dr. King’s home church of Ebenezer Baptist Church in the Horizon Sanctuary. Below is the schedule for the service which has and continues to include dignitaries from all over the globe.

Ms. Britney Packnett, Activist, Educator, Writer
Rev. Jentezen Franklin, Senior Pastor, Free Chapel Worship Center
Rev. Dr. Billy Kim, Former President, Baptist World Alliance

Also, due to the government shutdown the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Park was supposed to be closed tomorrow as the National Park Service maintains the park. However, due to a grant from Delta Air Lines and other funds, the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Park opened on Saturday and will remain open throughout the Super Bowl which will be held in Atlanta on Feb. 3!

In a statement, Delta CEO and trustee of the Delta Air Lines Foundation Ed Bastian said the group “felt it was important we do our part to ensure that the historical landmarks be accessible to the public.”

“Dr. King was about bringing people together and at Delta, we are about making the world a smaller place,” he added.

To read the entire story, click on the CNN story “MLK national park will reopen during government shutdown with help of Delta Air Lines” by Nicole Chavez.

How will you be celebrating the life and legacy of Dr. King tomorrow?
